Based in Norwood, drivers deliver doughnuts and fresh food products to UDF stores in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton areas. Depending on the route, shifts start between 3:40 pm and 5:00 pm.
The position requires being able to safely drive a van or small 18 ft. refrigerated box truck at night and in all weather conditions. It requires the ability to get in and out of the vehicle repeatedly and to tolerate exposure to all weather conditions. The ability to push/pull carts weighing as much as 150 pounds up and down a short ramp and lift them in and out of a van with a floor 2 feet above the ground is required. It requires the ability to read delivery tickets and complete logbooks and other paperwork accurately. Drivers are expected to drive safely at all times but deliver routes in a timely manner. This means to stay focused on the job at hand and be efficient with your delivery process. Drivers must be able to work independently, act professionally at all times, and communicate with other drivers and management when needed. Driver’s must possess or acquire a DOT Medical Card Certificate upon hire.
